Organizational Profile

The Arc is the national organization of and for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The Arc works to ensure that the estimated 7.2 million Americans with intellectual and developmental disabilities have the services and support they need to grow, develop and live in communities across the nation. Services include early intervention, health care, free appropriate public education, and support for their families. The Arc is composed of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, their parents and other family members, as well as friends, community members, and professionals who support them.
