Organizational Profile

The National Education Association (NEA) is amembership organization supported by a network of staff at the local, state, and national level. NEA supports and coordinates innovative projects, provides training and assistance to its affiliates, conducts activities consistent with the policies set by its elected governing bodies, andworks with other education organizations and friends of public education in an effort to create great public schools for every child. NEA members include individuals who work for public school districts, colleges or universities, and other public institutions devoted to education.
