Organizational Profile

The National Association of Test Directors (NATD) is an association of professionals with responsibilities for administering assessment programs in K-12 public educational settings. NATD provides information on testing, policy and practice, and encourages the highest professional standards in all of the elements of testing and assessment: setting goals and standards, developing measures, implementing testing programs, and reporting results to policy makers, parents, and students. Members include individuals, with responsibility for educational testing programs, from institutions involved in the construction or use of tests in settings not primarily for profit, including but not limited to, school systems and school system research, assessment, testing, or evaluation departments.
