Organizational Profile

The National Association of State Directors of Special Education (NASDSE) is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports education programs and related services for children and youth with disabilities in the United States and outlying areas. NASDSE provides support to all states and territories in the delivery of quality education to children and youth with disabilities through training, technical assistance, research, policy development and powerful collaborative relationships with other organizations and all constituencies. NASDSE's membership includes the state directors of special education who have specific responsibility for directing, coordinating or supervising programs and services regarding the education of students with disabilities.
